Grace Elizabeth Baker

Hi there! I’m Grace. I’m a writer, mother, and human person from the great city of Rock Hill, SC. I spend most of my time keeping my two beautiful children alive, telling three excitable dogs to stop barking, and watching movies with my stunningly supportive husband, Jeff.

Also, I write poetry. And other things. This website’s about the poetry, not so much the other things.

But now I’ve mentioned the other things, so….

I got a B.F.A. in filmmaking from the UNC School of the Arts. (Go pickles!) Don’t let that fool you. I’ve done very little with my film degree. I do make awesome home movies.

Novels have been my main passion in recent decades. With hopes, prayers, and pixie dust, I aspire to being able to say that I’ve had one professionally published in the not-so-distant future.
